B: "I think the house we picked reminds me of you."
Me: "It needs some work?"
B: "No!"
Me: "It's wired a little crazy? Plumbing has issues? Needs work in the basement? Is getting a little old?"
B: "Seriously?"
Me: "Well?"
B: "No, just that I had to figure out what its eccentricities were so that I could appreciate them."
Me: "I just wish we'd found it later."
B: "See? And I wish I'd met you senior year!"
